The 2025 International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Applications and Innovations (AIAI) was held from 26 – 29 June in a Hybrid format, in Limassol, Cyprus, and online. AIAI is a renowned international conference that brings together scientists and researchers each year to exchange the latest and most cutting-edge advances in the field. Its programme includes workshops that provide an ideal setting for the presentation of leading-edge conference papers. For the second consecutive year, DATAMITE was well represented at the conference by its partner, OTE.
Organised by OTE Group of Companies (HTO) and dozens of EU scientific partners, the ‘B5G – Putting Intelligence to the Network Edge’ (B5G-PINE) workshop, was the main event where DATAMITE was represented. This workshop aimed to disseminate knowledge obtained from ongoing EU projects in the wider thematic area of ‘B5G/6G Innovative Activities – Putting Intelligence to the Network Edge’, focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) in modern 5G/B5G telecommunications infrastructures. As part of the workshop, a poster about the project was displayed throughout the conference, and OTE presented two papers related to DATAMITE.
“Towards a Data Monetization Maturity Model”, where authors introduced DMMM, the first scientifically grounded maturity model designed to help organizations assess, plan, and evolve their data monetization capabilities. This tool bridges the gap between ambition and actionable strategy. Read it here.
“Transforming Data Management in Telecommunications: The Case Study of OTE Group’s Integration with the DATAMITE Project”, where authors shared a real-world framework from the OTE Group’s journey in aligning complex, large-scale data ecosystems with DATAMITE’s vision—leveraging open-source modularity to enable monetization, interoperability, and streamlined data exchange in telecom.
