The 15th AI Connected Business World took place on 24 June in Athens, Greece. With the theme of “Bridging the Connected World: From Vision to Connection”, the event emphasised the importance of technology, innovation and connectivity in creating a sustainable and connected world. It also highlighted the importance of interoperability and collaboration between businesses and other stakeholders in driving progress and bridging the digital divide.

The aim of the conference was to bring together key figures in innovation, including representatives from local government, businesses, research institutions and start-ups. Among them was DATAMITE partner OTE Group of Companies (OTE), who attended the event and presented the project at their stand. They promoted DATAMITE at the booth using an informative roll-up banner and a virtual assistant to engage with visitors and talk to them about the project.

The conference focused on key areas set to shape the future, including smart cities, smart buildings, the Internet of Things (IoT), connectivity, civil protection technology, and business networking. Practical examples and innovative solutions were presented to demonstrate how technology and strategic partnerships can bolster infrastructure resilience and promote sustainability.
