From 12 to 14 March, the Data Spaces Symposium took place in Darmstadtium, Frankfurt Region (Germany). Organised by the Data Spaces Support Centre (DSSC) and the Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA), this symposium is a pivotal gathering for those at the forefront of data space innovation and strategy. It serves as a platform to showcase the latest market-ready use cases, advanced technology solutions for existing and emerging data spaces. The Data Spaces symposium includes sessions from Data Week 2024

Under the theme “data value unlock!” Data Week organised 11 sessions, bringing together 65 speakers in total.  DATAMITE was proud to be part of the programme, taking part in the session called ‘Navigating the Future of Data Monetisation: Insights from Horizon Europe projects’.  The session brought together six Horizon Europe projects – UPCAST, FAME, PISTIS, EnrichMyData, Graph-Massivizer and DATAMITE – to explore the multifaceted dimensions of data monetization. Through a comprehensive dialogue, all the projects together aimed to unravel the value, challenges, and approaches associated with transforming data into economic assets. Liliana Beltrán, Project Manager at ITI, was in charge of representing DATAMITE and sharing, among other things, the case studies of the project to address the challenges of data monetisation and to make European companies and administrations a relevant actor in the data economy.
